Refund Policy

Session Cancellations by Students
- 24 hours' notice required to qualify for a full refund or session credit.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable and the session will be charged in full.
- No-shows — failure to attend without any prior notice — receive no refund and cannot be rescheduled.
- Exceptions may be considered in genuine emergencies at our discretion. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Free First Lesson
- Your first lesson with any new tutor is complimentary. No payment is taken upfront.
- If you are not satisfied after the free trial, you are under no obligation to continue.
- If the tutor is not the right fit, we will rematch you with a different tutor at no cost.
- No refund is applicable to a free trial session as no charge is made.

Package Refunds
- Refunds on prepaid packages apply only to unused sessions, and only if requested within 7 days of purchase with no sessions attended.
- Once sessions have commenced, refunds on the used portion of a package are not available.
- Students who have used part of a package may request session credits or substitutions for unused sessions at our discretion.
- Packages purchased at a discounted rate will have the standard per-session rate applied to any completed sessions when calculating a pro-rata refund.

Cancellations by ComboTutors Academy
- If a session is cancelled by your tutor or by ComboTutors Academy due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified as early as possible.
- You will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
- We will offer an alternative tutor if you prefer not to wait for a rescheduled slot.

Technical Issues
We distinguish between issues caused by our platform and those on the student's side.
- If a session is disrupted due to ComboTutors Academy's own technical issues, we will offer a replacement session or a full refund.
- Students are responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection and a functional device. Refunds will not be issued for disruptions caused by the student's own setup.
- If both parties experience issues, we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis.

Quality of Service
- If you are dissatisfied with the quality of a session, you must report it within 24 hours of the session ending.
- Reports received after this window may not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
- Valid quality complaints will be reviewed and may result in a refund or a replacement session at no cost.
- Repeated quality concerns will result in a full tutor rematch.

How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation or refund, contact us through any of the following:

- WhatsApp — message us directly for a faster response.
Please include the following in your request:
- Your full name and registered email address.
- The session date and subject.
- Your reason for the refund request.
- Proof of payment (receipt or booking confirmation).
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method.

Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and, where significant, notified via email. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
