We cover every major specification. Your tutor matches your board, tier, and mark-scheme language so every lesson points toward exam performance.
Three 2-hour papers. Papers 1 and 2 cover core content; Paper 3 includes practical skills and an optional topic (Astrophysics, Medical Physics, etc.).
Three papers including a core practical paper. Strong quantitative emphasis. Includes an optional topic assessed in Paper 3B.
Three papers with a heavy emphasis on mathematical skills and modelling. Includes unified physics and a practical skills paper.
The international A-Level Physics specification. Separate papers for AS and A2, plus a practical paper. Taken at international schools worldwide.

Our tutors build conceptual understanding alongside mathematical fluency — the two together are what produce A and A* grades in Physics.
Step 1
We start with recent marks, confidence blockers, and the exact exam board so sessions feel personal from lesson one.
Step 2
Tutors connect concepts to examiner language, worked examples, and the habits that turn knowledge into marks.
Step 3
Parents see what changed after each session: topics covered, next steps, and the grade trajectory we are building toward.
Kinematics, projectile motion, Newton's laws, momentum, circular motion, gravitational fields, and simple harmonic motion — the largest single topic block.
Charge, current, potential difference, resistance, EMF and internal resistance, capacitors (charging/discharging), and AC circuits.
Wave properties, superposition, diffraction, interference, standing waves, the photoelectric effect, and wave-particle duality.
Gravitational, electric, and magnetic fields — including field lines, potential energy, inverse square laws, and electromagnetic induction. A major Higher-only section.
Kinetic theory, ideal gas laws, specific heat capacity, specific latent heat, and the first law of thermodynamics.
Nuclear structure, radioactive decay, half-life, binding energy, mass-energy equivalence (E=mc²), fission, and fusion.
Astrophysics, Medical Physics, Engineering Physics, Turning Points (depending on board). We cover whichever optional topic your specification requires.

The three field topics share a common mathematical structure. We teach them together, highlighting the parallels and key differences (e.g., gravity is always attractive, electric fields can repel). Students who learn the patterns score well across all three field topics.
A-Level Physics papers regularly ask students to derive equations or apply them in unfamiliar contexts. We practise deriving key equations from first principles and working through novel multi-step problems, which builds the flexible thinking examiners test.
The practical skills paper requires students to plan experiments, analyse data, calculate uncertainties, and evaluate results. We cover these skills systematically using real past-paper practicals and the mark scheme language each board expects.

Academic Excellence
Families usually want three things: a tutor their child respects, a plan that fits the real paper, and updates that make progress easy to follow.
We shortlist tutors who know the curriculum, teach clearly, and can coach the exact exam habits that lift marks.
Top-university academics and exam-savvy specialists.
Parents see what was covered, what improved, and what needs attention next, so progress never feels vague.
Structured feedback after every lesson block.
Sessions are matched to the student's board, tier, topic gaps, and exam timeline instead of generic subject tutoring.
Board-specific support with a measurable target grade path.
They are different types of challenge. Physics requires strong mathematical skills alongside conceptual understanding and the ability to apply both to unfamiliar problems. Students who enjoy applying maths to real-world problems typically find Physics very rewarding.
Further Maths is not required but is beneficial for students heading toward Engineering, Physics, or Astrophysics at university. The overlap between Further Maths and the hardest A-Level Physics questions (particularly in SHM, fields, and circular motion) is significant.
Practical skills are assessed in two ways: a school-assessed practical endorsement (separate from the grade) and questions in the written papers. Paper 3 (AQA) or equivalent specifically tests planning, data analysis, uncertainty, and evaluation. We cover all of these in sessions.
Yes — we cover all major optional topics: Astrophysics, Medical Physics, Engineering Physics, Turning Points in Physics (AQA), and Nuclear and Particle Physics. Tell us which option you are studying and we will match a specialist tutor.
