Why Kuwaiti families choose us
Examiner-led teaching for
the scholarship pathway.
Grades that unlock scholarships
Kuwait funds thousands of students to study abroad each year, and strong IGCSE, A-Level and IB results are the gateway. Our examiner-led teaching targets exactly the grades the Ministry of Higher Education and UK universities require.
Seamless lessons on Zoom — no VPN needed
WhatsApp voice and video calls are restricted in Kuwait. We teach over Zoom, Teams and Google Meet, which run reliably across the country, so no lesson is dropped and no workaround is required.
Female tutors and a respectful service
Female UK-qualified tutors are available across all subjects on request, with flexible after-Iftar scheduling during Ramadan — supporting New Kuwait 2035's focus on human capital.

“We were tired of dropped WhatsApp video calls with other tutors. Every ComboTutors lesson ran on Zoom without a hitch, and my son improved from a C to an A* in IGCSE Chemistry.”

Kuwait questions
Everything families need to know.
Yes. Kuwait's Ministry of Higher Education funds thousands of students to study abroad each year, and the gateway is strong IGCSE, A-Level and IB grades. Our examiner-led teaching targets exactly those grades, and we provide UCAS and personal-statement support for the UK and US universities on the approved scholarship lists.
WhatsApp voice and video calling is restricted in Kuwait, so we do not rely on it for lessons. Every session runs on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet — all of which work normally with no VPN required. We use WhatsApp only for text and scheduling.
Yes. Several of our tutors hold active IB Diploma and Cambridge IGCSE examiner roles. Examiner status is verified before any match and displayed clearly on tutor profiles.
We support students at The English School, the British School of Kuwait, Kuwait English School, the New English School, Gulf English School, the American International School of Kuwait, the American School of Kuwait, Universal American School, Al-Bayan Bilingual School, American Creativity Academy and Cambridge English School, among other British, IB and American-curriculum schools across Salmiya, Salwa, Jabriya, Hawally and the wider country.
Yes. We maintain a dedicated pool of female UK-qualified tutors across all IB, IGCSE and A-Level subjects. Mention this preference when contacting us and we will prioritise your match accordingly.
Yes. Our tutors guide structure, rubric alignment, mark-scheme thinking and feedback for IA, EE and TOK. All support is advisory — we do not write coursework for students, in line with IBO academic honesty policy.
Yes. Sessions can be scheduled after Iftar during Ramadan and around the Friday–Saturday weekend, fitting the Sunday–Thursday school week. We accommodate scheduling changes without penalty.
The academic year starts in September. IB Diploma exams run late April to May, and Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE and A-Levels sit the May/June series. Oxbridge and medicine UCAS applications close on 15 October with most courses by mid-January, ahead of the scholarship cycle. We recommend starting at least one term before the relevant window.
