Why Abu Dhabi students
A-Level Chemistry in Abu Dhabi is small-cohort and high-stakes. BSAK in Al Mushrif and Brighton College Abu Dhabi at Bloom Gardens run Cambridge International A-Level, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island runs a mixed CIE A-Level and IB DP pathway, and Repton Abu Dhabi runs both Cambridge and Edexcel A-Level for Chemistry. ADEK's Top Performing School recognition has pushed sixth forms here to publish UCAS and Ivy outcomes, which means parents in Khalifa City, Al Reem Island and Saadiyat now benchmark against Russell Group and US T20 offers. Our Abu Dhabi A-Level Chemistry tutors are practising examiners or top-university specialists matched by board, by AS/A2 tier and by target grade, with sessions sequenced around the ADEK academic calendar — January mocks, May/June sittings — and around UCAS personal statement deadlines for Abu Dhabi-based applicants.
Exam boards we cover
The dominant A-Level route at ADEK-rated sixth forms in Abu Dhabi, including BSAK in Al Mushrif and Brighton College Abu Dhabi at Bloom Gardens. Linear AS + A2 structure with strong international university recognition.
Used by some Abu Dhabi British curriculum schools. Modular structure means students can resit individual units — useful for Abu Dhabi students balancing UCAS and US applications.
Smaller uptake, but offered by some schools serving Abu Dhabi families repatriating to the UK.
Syllabus coverage
Our A-Level Chemistry tutors cover the full specification with extra depth on the topics where Abu Dhabi students most consistently lose marks.
Orbitals, shapes of molecules and intermolecular forces.
Hess cycles, Born-Haber and entropy.
Rate equations, Kc, Kp and acid-base equilibria.
Periodicity, group chemistry and transition metals.
Mechanisms, isomerism, NMR, IR and mass spectrometry.
Standard electrode potentials, cells and fuel cells.
Titration accuracy, organic prep and lab writeups.
CIE 9701 and Edexcel 9CH0 mark-scheme drilling.
We work with students at leading A-Level institutions across Abu Dhabi.
What we fix
How we fix it:ADEK's Irtiqa'a inspection ratings drive a real squeeze on Year 10–13 places at BSAK, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi and Brighton College Abu Dhabi, which pushes families to lock in target grades early. We build a written Chemistry progression plan against the ADEK academic calendar so parents can show measurable improvement at the next reporting cycle.
How we fix it:Families on Al Reem Island, in Khalifa City or off-island commuting to Cranleigh Abu Dhabi or Brighton College Abu Dhabi can lose 60–90 minutes a day to traffic over Sheikh Khalifa Bridge. All our Chemistry lessons are online 1-to-1, scheduled in UAE time after school or on weekends, so no extra commute is added.
How we fix it:Mock weeks at BSAK in Al Mushrif and Cranleigh Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat cluster in late January and early February, with Brighton College Abu Dhabi following soon after. We run a structured 6–8 week Chemistry mock-prep block using each school's past mock papers and the official CIE, Edexcel, IB or College Board mark schemes.
How we fix it:Many families either relocate from Dubai to Saadiyat Island for schooling or keep one child in a KHDA school in Dubai and another at an ADEK school in Abu Dhabi. We hold separate Chemistry progress notes per child, per board and per regulator so a Dubai-Abu Dhabi household stays coordinated.
Why ComboTutors
We match by board AND by school: BSAK and Brighton College Abu Dhabi students get a Cambridge Chemistry specialist; Cranleigh Abu Dhabi students get an IB DP or CIE specialist; ACS-AD and AISA students get an AP-trained tutor who knows the current College Board CED. Every match is briefed on the school's ADEK Irtiqa'a profile.
Lessons run in UAE time around the ADEK term structure, Ramadan's shortened timetable, Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha, and UAE National Day, with intensive Chemistry blocks timed to the January mock window at BSAK, Cranleigh and Brighton College Abu Dhabi and to the May/June external sittings.
Our Abu Dhabi sixth-form Chemistry tutors don't just deliver content — they brief students on how Russell Group, Oxbridge and US T20 admissions teams read predicted grades from BSAK, Cranleigh, Brighton College, ACS-AD and AISA, and how to position an Abu Dhabi application around the school's ADEK Top Performing School status.

A-Level Chemistry in Abu Dhabi
Cranleigh Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island runs Cambridge International for A-Level Chemistry alongside IB DP, and Brighton College Abu Dhabi at Bloom Gardens sits Cambridge for A-Level Chemistry. BSAK in Al Mushrif is also predominantly Cambridge, and Repton Abu Dhabi in Rowdhat splits between Cambridge and Edexcel. We match the tutor to the exact board your child sits.
All ComboTutors A-Level Chemistry lessons for Abu Dhabi families are online 1-to-1, scheduled in UAE time. That removes the Saadiyat Bridge or Sheikh Zayed Bridge commute for families in Khalifa City, Al Reem Island, Al Bateen or Al Mushrif and lets us run sessions right after the school day.
Abu Dhabi schools are inspected by ADEK under the Irtiqa'a framework, not by KHDA. The term dates, mock windows and reporting cycle are slightly earlier than KHDA's, so a A-Level Chemistry tutor needs to plan against ADEK's calendar — particularly for BSAK, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, Brighton College Abu Dhabi, Repton Abu Dhabi, ACS-AD and AISA students.
Yes — we tutor A-Level Chemistry for students at British School Al Khubairat (BSAK), Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, Brighton College Abu Dhabi, Repton Abu Dhabi, Aldar Academies (Al Yasmina, Al Mamoura, Al Bateen), Raha International School, ACS Abu Dhabi, AISA, GEMS American Academy Abu Dhabi and Cambridge High School Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi students who start 3+ months before a January mock at BSAK or Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, or 4+ months before the May/June external sitting, consistently see a one- to two-grade improvement in A-Level Chemistry. We use the school's actual past mock papers plus official examiner reports.
A-Level Chemistry tutoring for Abu Dhabi families starts from AED 180/hour, billed in AED. The first trial lesson is free and there are no minimum-term contracts — useful for Saadiyat Island and Khalifa City families who often book around the ADEK term cycle rather than a full year.
